Services

Insulated trays are individually prepared and delivered by volunteers Monday through Friday, with the exception of major holidays.

Each tray contains two complete, nutritious meals – one hot and one cold. Meals are provided alternately by a local grocery store and a Philadelphia based food supplier. Clients pay only $7 per tray for 2023 (reduced from $9 per tray due to a generous bequest). Sweet treats are also provided when available. Recipients have the option of receiving a meal every delivery day, or just a few days a week as needed.

Volunteers provide daily smiles and personal contact for those who may be homebound, with limited outside connections. Though intangible, this is a key service that helps support the mental and spiritual well-being of our recipients.

Meals on Wheels of Central Bucks serves the communities of Doylestown, New Britain, Chalfont, Warrington, Warwick, Buckingham, Plumstead, New Hope, Solebury, Dublin, Bedminster, Hilltown, Tinicum & Nockamixon.
