Who do we serve?

Meals on Wheels delivers to the communities of Central Bucks including Bedminister, Buckingham, Chalfont, Doylestown, Dublin, New Britian, New Hope, Nockamixon, Plumstead, Solebury, Tinicum, Warrington, and Warwick.

What we serve?

Each weekday (Monday to Friday), friendly volunteers deliver two daily meals. One is a freshly made, warm, balanced main meal (entrée, starch, and vegetable) that can be enjoyed right away or stored in the refrigerator to be microwaved later. The second meal consisting of a ready to eat cold sandwich along with a side salad or fruit, a dessert and milk are also delivered.


When are meals delivered?

Meals are delivered between 11:00am and noon each weekday.

Who prepares the meals?

Our meals are prepared fresh every day (not frozen) by a professional catering service and a local grocery store. They are Servsafe Certified and provide a nutritious and delicious meal.

Who qualifies for Meals on Wheels?

Any resident who lives in the communities we serve who have difficulty preparing their own daily meals qualifies. There are no income limitations for clients.

How is Meals on Wheels of Central Bucks County funded?

We are a non-profit organization and receive no government funding. We are funded by daily meal fees and through generous donations from churches, social organization, individuals, and corporate grants.

I am not in financial need. Can I still receive meals?

Yes. There are no income limitations to receive daily meals. Our meals are provided at a minimal cost per day kept down by generous donations from our supporters. Many clients pay on a weekly or monthly basis depending on their preference.


I am in financial need. How do I receive meals?

Meals on Wheels of Central Bucks County does offer a discounted, subsidized rate for those who qualify. Simply contact our office to inquire about receiving subsidized meals

Do I need to get meals delivered 5 days a week?

No. We customize a daily meal service based on your needs. You can get fresh meals delivered 2-3 days a week if you don’t need a 5 day per week service. A
simple phone call can switch your service frequency up or down.


I just had surgery and will be recuperating for a 4–6-week timeframe. Can I receive meals for a limited time?

Yes. We are very flexible in meeting your needs and will work with you to supply meals when you need them. We have clients who just need temporary meal delivery for a limited timeframe.

Can I easily cancel my meal delivery for a day or put my meal delivery on hold for a while?

Yes. For whatever reason (e.g., a doctor’s appointment or an extended stay at the hospital) your delivery can we cancelled with a phone call to our office. We strive to provide the most flexibility to serve your changing needs and circumstances.
